From the beginning, Aashukin was shaped with Cree partners across Eeyou Istchee, including representatives from all Cree First Nations and regional Cree organizations Through the Aashukin Advisory Committee and a smaller Steering Committee, these partners have helped guide the development of a Cree-led approach to research review, data governance and research capacity building for the Cree Nation.
